Update 2:30pm: Haden Hoagland has been found, and is currently in the hospital with his family.
Original: A 21-year-old man* from North Beach, Haden Hoagland, has gone missing — he was last seen Sunday afternoon.
His stepmother Kristi shared the news in the My Ballard Group, saying he left their home near Our Redeemer’s Church at 2pm wearing only a white t-shirt and light grey shorts. He’s 5’6″, and roughly 120 lbs. She also notes that the above photo is from two years ago, but says he still looks much the same.
She says he suffers from a mental health disorder and is currently in a catatonic state, unable to talk, eat or sleep.
Kristi filed a missing person’s report, but is asking the community for help finding Haden. She says he’s often around downtown Ballard, Trader Joe’s, PCC or Grocery Outlet.
“He is sweet and will be scared,” she says, adding that if you see him, to please call 911.
