Learn the technical skills to make your acrylic paintings amazing. Maxx FG will teach you about pigments and colors, mixing paints, and show you different styles of painting. Each class you’ll have time to try out different techniques and then to work on your own masterpiece. You’ll have the option to choose from canvas, panels and papier mache sculptures to paint on.

All materials are provided. Class includes a set of paintbrushes that each student will be responsible for cleaning and caring for. Brush sets are yours to take after the camp.

Class is from 2-5pm each day, August 4 through 7. There will be a break for snacks; students can use the microwave in the kitchen. There are also many restaurants in the area.

Maxx FG has come a long way from her first acrylic paintings done in craft paints with hand-me-down brushes. Her work is now in the collections of the City of Seattle, Verity Credit Union, and many private collectors. It brings her joy to introduce young people to using professional quality materials! Maxx’s favorite subjects to paint are people, cats, plants and eyeballs in weird places.
