Oh. My. Odin. We’ve been waiting years for this one… the release of Æsir Meadery’s Bourbon Barrel Aged Mead! Join us as we celebrate this mead most worthy of the gods.

The bourbon barrel aged mead is incredibly aromatic, smelling of whiskey and honey. Tastes slightly fruity from the blackberry honey used in its creation and is balanced with strong vanilla, bourbon, and oak flavors extracted from aging in barrels for the last 5 years. The mead goes down smooth and warms the belly but not the tongue.

This is a VERY RARE creation first available here at the beer hall. A great deal of time, patience, and skill have gone into creating this incredible mead. The price reflects the craftsmanship!

We will be selling 1 oz shots (to sip and savor) for $20 and retail bottles for $125. We’ll also make our shot sword available if you and two friends want to kick up the celebration!

Erik, the man behind the mead, will be on hand to chat about his creation and maybe (just maybe) offer a very small drop sample if you are deemed worthy :-)
