Crown Hill Cemetery located at 8712 12th Ave NW. All Community Members, Friends, Family’s and Veterans, Please plan to join the Ballard Elks and Boys Scout Troop 827 for Memorial Day observances at Crown Hill Cemetery located at 8712 12th Ave NW. The Boy scout troop 827 will lead memorial day observances at both the cemetery and at the Elks Lodge.

A short 15 minute Ceremony will be conducted at the Crown Hill Cemetery starting at 9:30 AM. This will be followed by a brunch and short program at the Elks Lodge. This is a family event and all are welcome. As in the past the Scouts will lead a flag raising ceremony, read a roll call of veterans interned in the Crown Hill Cemetery, provide opportunity for short reflection, and remembrances and conclude with playing of Taps. Afterward A brunch will be served at the lodge and include readings of noteworthy speeches honoring American Veterans. The brunch will be free for Veterans and children under 10 and $7 per head for all others. All proceeds will go towards the Ballard Elks Veteran’s Committee.
