Do you get enough protein on a vegan diet? Is it healthy and sustainable? Can you actually build muscle?
Yes and YES! You will get the opportunity to listen to the stories of people who are passionately thriving – by just eating plants! This event is designed to help all of us learn how we can grow to be healthy, strong, happy, and (of course) compassionate towards animals. You’ll even go home with a few recipes and tips to get you started. Following the panel will be a screening of Vegucated, a documentary that explores the challenges of converting to a vegan diet.

We’re thrilled to welcome two expert panelists:
Cindy is a retired 20-year firefighter and creator of Trimazing – Vegan health and lifestyle coaching. When her vegan journey began, she was overweight and unhealthy. Through this lifestyle change she dropped 60 lbs, seven pant sizes, and lowered her cholesterol and blood pressure in just the first year! Cindy is now a certified Health Coach, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Peer Fitness Trainer, and a licensed paramedic among many other qualifications.
Gigi made the transition to a plant-based lifestyle in 2012 – a decision that impacted her both personally and physically. Her health improved, she no longer had high cholesterol, and she was able to start new hobbies like cycling and racing. After this change, Gigi was inspired to walk away from her corporate career and create My True Self, wellness coaching for individuals, families, businesses, and corporate organizations.
