As our community embarks into the holiday season, what the future holds is still unknown. The effects of the pandemic are still unfolding and our local hospitals are addressing many of our community’s needs – including the need for blood – during this busy season. Bloodworks is helping to meet the need by continuing to hold Pop-Up Donor Centers around our region through the end of the year. All donors are encouraged to donate at their earliest convenience, book their appointment, and keep it for the health and stability of the local blood supply. The pop-up centers are being conducted in accordance with social distancing guidelines. No walk-ins, guests, or people under age 16 are permitted onsite. All donors are required to wear masks or face coverings during their appointment.
