Puget Sound Concert Opera presents Manon by Jules Massenet -Seattle performance

World famous, local opera singers! Puget Sound Concert Opera takes pride in presenting high quality, affordable productions of the world’s greatest operas. With our innovative concert opera format, PSCO allows audience members to see, hear and feel the music up close in intimate venues.

Jules Massenet’s 1884 opera, Manon, tells the story of a young beauty bound for a convent education, who meets a handsome young chevalier and falls in love. Their fairy tale romance ends in tragedy.

Featuring Jennifer Bromagen in the title role, Robert McPherson as Chevalier des Grieux, and Ryan Bede as Lescaut, The cast is rounded out by Andrew Etherington, Mark Davies, Laura Loge, Lee Anne Frahn, Catherine Treadgold and Renwick Hester.

Instrumental ensemble of eleven will be conducted and arranged by Bernard Kwiram.

Performed concert style in French with French and English supertitles.
