Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame Icon Roger Fisher of Heart Virtual “Bound by Blood” Concert for Bloodworks NW

April 19, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

With the COVID-19 pandemic upending daily lives, routines, and threatening the local blood supply, local artist Roger Fisher is hoping to raise awareness for a local non-profit through his love of music. The co-founder and lead guitarist of rock group Heart, Fisher is slated to livestream a one-night-only “quarantine concert” with the band Born to Fly to benefit Bloodworks Northwest on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at 6:30pm to raise awareness of the ongoing need for members of the community to donate blood. Fisher, the guitarist behind “Barracuda” and “Crazy On You” aims to harness the power of the community looking for ways to help out during these trying times.
First time and repeat donors are urged to make their one-hour donation appointments today as a safe and essential action to support local patients in hospitals across the Pacific Northwest. In accordance with current social distancing guidelines, Bloodworks is welcoming scheduled appointments only (no walk-ins or people under age 16 permitted onsite) at all Donor Centers to keep everyone safe.

Join the Roger Fisher Virtual Donor Drive and schedule your appointment at Bloodworks Donor Centers. All registered donors between April 19th and May 3rd 2020, will receive a special discount link to Roger Fisher’s very own “Human Tribe Tea” and be sure to mention code “HT” for Human Tribe to receive your discount link via e-mail. Working arm-in-arm together, we’ll ensure our community weathers this crisis.

Donating blood is an essential activity under stay-at-home orders and there is no risk of contracting coronavirus through the donation process. Bloodworks has posted information addressing questions and concerns for blood donors at bloodworksnw.org/coronavirus. Information about who can donate and where, is available at www.bloodworksnw.org.
