Seattle Cider Week: Tieton Cider Takeover

September 11, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Free

Tieton Cider Works takes over the taps of the beer hall!

In celebration of the 9th annual Washington Cider Week, we’re welcoming our friends from Tieton Cider Works to the beer hall, where we will feature some of their best concoctions on tap.

The fruit used in Tieton’s ciders comes from land that has been in the cider makers’ family since the 1920’s. As third-generation Yakima Valley farmers with a degree in horticulture from Washington State University, apples are what they know best! After being introduced to cider apple varieties in 2008 — those gnarly, inedible wild apple varieties needed to make great cider — twenty-five types were planted, and Tieton now boasts the largest acreage of cider apples and Perry pears in the state.

A special tasting menu of food + Tieton cider pairings will be featured during the event, and an annual Skål Beerhalla Mug Club Membership will be raffled off to one lucky guest!

Come try some of the best ciders available in this part of the world, fresh from the orchards to your glass!
