To celebrate an exciting hockey season ahead, The Maxwell Hotel will host The Great Kraken Giveaway – a series of six events to bring sports fans together to celebrate the spirit of the game! The Great Kraken Giveaway will take place in the hotel’s signature restaurant, Pineapple Bistro & Bar (PB&B), where guests and diners can participate in a rapid-fire trivia game and/or spirit contest for a chance to win two Seattle Kraken tickets to upcoming home games (all tickets are section 20, row Z, seat 3 & 4). These events are great for avid hockey and sports fans, trivia buffs, and those who feel the need to exercise their competitive side.

Tickets are not needed; interested patrons simply visit PB&B, register via their mobile device upon arrival, and enjoy. Each trivia event will consist of about two to four games, each lasting between 10 and 15 minutes, giving guests a chance to show off their Kraken and sports knowledge. On spirit nights, visitors are encouraged to showcase their creativity by putting together an artistic ensemble (hockey-themed or not) or dressing up as their favorite hockey player. Whether guests are participating in the trivia games or just swinging by on the spirit nights, they’ll have the chance to enjoy specialty bites and cocktails created by the inventive PB&B team, which includes a Kraken rum-based cocktail called The Hat Trick.
