This class is for adult students!

Why use just one art medium when you could learn them all? Watercolor paint is great because it works with most other materials. This class will teach you how to use watercolor paint with colored pencils, markers, ink, gouache, paint pens and more. Maxx FG will show you how to pick out the right materials to achieve your style goals. The focus will be on getting your artwork to look how you imagine it.

Class is 2 – 5 pm daily, August 11 – 15, with a break for snacks. Snacks are not provided but students are welcome to refrigerate and microwave food in our kitchen. All materials are provided and students will receive a mixed media sketchbook to use during the class and to keep to continue making artwork.

Maxx FG can never decide on just one art medium and loves introducing people to how all of the art mediums they love can be used together. Most of her pieces use watercolor and she enjoys finding new ways to use the medium – most recently she started using watercolor on wood panels. Maxx FG also makes most of the Push/Pull Sticky Cap watercolors and will happily geek out on all things related to binders and pigments.
