Release your stresses and create beautiful abstract watercolor art–no drawing required!

In this class you’ll learn to let go as you lay down pigments on paper. You’ll explore the different characteristics of colors as they granulate, shine, feather, blend and swirl. We’ll then have a tea break while we wait for our experiments to dry and take time to notice the subtle and dramatic changes as our paintings dry.

Once paintings are dry, we’ll cut them into strips and weave them into our masterpieces into a finished piece of abstract art.

All materials are provided. This class is recommended for ages 16 and up.

Maxx Follis-Goodkind (she/her) has been painting with watercolor since she got her first paint set so long ago that she can’t remember. She’s also the creator of many of the watercolor paints made by Push/Pull. She has a love and fascination with this unpredictable medium and enjoys teaching people all the different ways it can be used and appreciated.
