    This is absolutely horrible. He was one of my all time favorite actors.

    Williams was last seen alive at his residence, where he lives with his wife, at approximately 10:00 p.m. Sunday, the Sheriff’s Office said.

    The Sheriff’s Office said the Coroner Division suspects the death to be a suicide due to asphyxia, but an investigation is continuing.

    NOOOOO. One of the greats.

    so sad, such an amazing talent

    Nora Bell

    Thought it was a hoax, at first, when a friend posted on Facebook. Damn. Among my favorite comedic actors. Just gutted.

    Robin Williams. One of the best, and a very sad way to go.

    I was in my car when I heard this. Had to pull over. He was one of my favorites too.
    Hope you found peace, Robin.

    Sorry to see you go Adrian. So many good memories from this movie:

    Shelley, he was one of a kind… he had one of the all- time greatest movie lines from that movie you clipped, anyone having to ask what line that was is both uninformed and feeble- minded…

    So sad!!!

    Very sad. One of his funniest bits to me is that earthquakes are god (or mother nature?) saying “get these condos off my back.”

    Wow, just watching the tribute on KRON down here, flashed that Lauren Bacall had just passed away, now waiting for third shoe to drop…
    Really exposes the reality of life, doesn’t it?

    From Ulysses, the last stanza of which was featured in the Dead Poet’s Society…

    There lies the port; the vessel puffs her sail;
    There gloom the dark, broad seas. My mariners,
    Souls that have toiled, and wrought, and thought with me—
    That ever with a frolic welcome took
    The thunder and the sunshine, and opposed
    Free hearts, free foreheads—you and I are old;
    Old age hath yet his honor and his toil.
    Death closes all; but something ere the end,
    Some work of noble note, may yet be done,
    Not unbecoming men that strove with gods.
    The lights begin to twinkle from the rocks;
    The long day wanes; the slow moon climbs; the deep
    Moans round with many voices. Come, my friends.
    ‘Tis not too late to seek a newer world.
    Push off, and sitting well in order smite
    the sounding furrows; for my purpose holds
    To sail beyond the sunset, and the baths
    Of all the western stars, until I die.
    It may be that the gulfs will wash us down;
    It may be that we shall touch the Happy Isles,
    And see the great Achilles, whom we knew.
    Though much is taken, much abides; and though
    We are not now that strength which in old days
    Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are—
    One equal temper of heroic hearts,
    Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
    To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

    I watched “Good Will Hunting” last night and now I just watched “The Fisher King” seen them both before but I had to get a RW fix. He was such a good actor.
