Gold Bar is a strange little community but Granite Falls surpasses it for people doing things I don’t want to support (speaking from my past experience as a crisis responder).
My husband used to work at a summer camp up near Granite Falls and had some fairly harrowing stories to tell :O) but I bet you can find them just about anywhere if you look. It’s quite pretty up that way though.
Very active area for puppy mills. Some get shut down, and they keep springing back up.
