Life is Amazing! Wow, you’ve got your hands full! Do you ever get to sleep through the night?

My husband seems to be the best as the “Bird Whisperer” – I’ll have see if he does cats too!- LOL!

The cat in my avatar still visits us daily and killed a rat in the “sanctuary” last week.

We have two Anna’s that live close by. I see them a couple times a week. I think they have established a ” No Fly Zone” and whenever I put out new fresh seed, a feeding frenzy starts.
When birds fly or perch too close to their territory, a Hummer will fly out and scold all of us for creating such a frenzy. Last saw one on Wedneday this week so I think they are ok.

I have a Hummingbird Feeder we haven’t put up yet. Not sure where to put it amoungst the other feeding places in our backyard sanctuary. We want everyone to coexist without too many problems.

Is this the Ballard Food Bank, at:

5130 Leary Ave NW, Seattle ?

I have a stack I can drop off. Are they still needed ?

Everyone must be posting elsewhere? I read Seattle Reddit posts…maybe some have migrated to that forum?

I haven’t heard anything on the cat postings I made. I think that cat went home to it’s house last night. It was back again this afternoon chasing birds and squirrels and wanted in our house again. Not a lap cat but a social one. And it’s a hunter. That’s probably why he likes our yard so much. But we have a “co-exist in the sanctuary” directive to all animals sharing the backyard.

I was hearing it also here in east ballard/phinney/frelard. Seems to have gone. Seattle Real Time has a open “aid response” at 24th & NW 57th.

LOL! If the lights are blue and/or green, it is because they left them up or changed them after Christmas, to support the Seahawks in the Super Bowl. Personally, I don’t mind the lights in the Winter. It brightens the dark nights.
    On another note….
I saw a Christmas tree strapped to the top of a station wagon at Fred Meyer yesterday. It was a bit dry but still rather green.

AprilJoy here. I created a new login. It works on my tablet, only. Did anyone get the form to fill out and to kindly ask to be added to the White List? I have sent a request in twice and also an email but never heard back.

PCC in Fremont is another place to try. (They are less expensive than Whole Paycheck and Ballard Market)
