Drove past and didn’t see anything. Keep me posted. If you make contact, I can help.
Still there? I can head over and see what i can do…
Are you a member of buynothingballard on facebook? It is awesome. If you pm me your email I can invite you. I just found somebody who wants to old motorcycle helmets I have.
I will let the critter team know, thanks gracie!
Oh, and as phoo says…poor small critters. Three of the four chinchillas I am fostering have holes bitten through their ears.
I think small animal sales should be banned.
If your animal is suffering terminally and needs put down, the Seattle Animal Shelter offers euthanization. That is one for sure way to make sure you animal passes peacefully.
The room is painted with a rainbow mural representing the rainbow bridge and they take great care.
Oh, briarrose. Stop over next week and snuggle a big-eared little sweetie.
Once you realize they have personalities, it’s all over.
Force Con Paisley! Chinchilla invasion! Every citizen is required to browse LOLcats until further notice!
What color threat level should extremely cute, high-maintenance critters rate? Paisley?
That just occurred to me, actually. Somebody get on that, STAT!
Oh my goodness botanicals that sounds amazing!!! I will email! Thank you!
I feel so bad because I am busy packing up and they want to be out running about!
I think it will be hard not to be happy with 3 acres and a private beach. It’s not a palace but it’s four bedrooms plus three baths, quiet, and less rent than we paid when we moved to Ballard four years ago.
Did I mention the private beach?
And my lawn gnomes will be safe from harm, at least from vagrants…
No you go!
If you don’t have any luck, the animal shelter will take her in. They have a rooster in the back right now. He is LOUD LOUD LOUD, my goodness.
The shelter will hold him for three days after he is brought in for a stray before placing him for adoption. They will check his tags, check for a microchip, do a health eval, etc. Again, I will be happy to hold on to him until Wednesday. Does he seem well-fed? I’m concerned about the callous on his head…
Or if you can’t care for him until Wednesday holler and I can do so.
Pit Bulls are one of the most commonly abandoned dogs. Please take him to the animal shelter on Wednesday (they are closed for the next two days). If the owner is diligently searching for their dog, they will be sure to look there.04/13/2014 at 9:36 pm in reply to: If you see a white cat in the middle of the street #64253
77th and 80th. And I really do apologize. With two kids running in and out the door and no screen door to help block the escape route, it’s difficult with such a determined kitty.
We honestly try. My worst nightmare is Princess getting hit by a car.
Oh shoot, you already said kegger. Um, package thief jamboree?
Package thief kegger? Missing cat scavenger hunt?
Hi, did you find a solution? I may be able to help if not.
They go to great lengths to avoid euthanization. They do not call themselves a no kill shelter even though they qualify.
If all else fails I encourage you to take her to the Seattle Animal Shelter. They are technically a no-kill shelter, they only euthanize animals that are terminal or human aggressive beyond rehabilitation. Many of their animals are placed in foster care. I wish you luck but if you need to go the shelter route message me and I can help.
You know what’s crazy? My husband would have a shorter commute if we lived on Vashon and he took the ferry. He works by the Market. The bus is a real problem, and he HAS to take it. We only have one vehicle.
Also as for adoption rates…every bunny I’ve fostered has been adopted. The Seattle Animal Shelter has an adoption rate of over 90%, and that figure includes everything from chickens to turtles to cats and dogs.
I have a silly number of rabbits right now because a stray bunny came to the shelter with her babies.
