North Beach CSO community meeting March 30, 6:00pm In older parts of the King County sewage system, both rain water and sewage travel down the same pipes to the wastewater treatment plant. Three alternatives to combat CSO in this area have been identified. The King County CSO Beach Project team is looking for questions, concerns and suggestions from the community. The project is being funded with $1,200,000 from the Parks and Green Spaces Levy. Construction is slated to begin in the spring of 2011 with a completion of fall of next year.
