The Seattle Department of Transportation has been doing some ongoing work to replace the lighting on the Ballard Bridge, and starting today, they’ll be closing the east sidewalk and northbound curbside lane from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for work. The work will continue through the week, but will switch sides on Thursday or Friday (August 9 or 10) to the southbound curbside lane.
The bridge will be closed from 11 p.m. Saturday August 11 to 7 a.m. Sunday August 12. All lanes will be closed during that time, and one sidewalk will be closed to traffic.
