Popcorn & Pickled Herring: Nordic Heritage Museum to show ‘A Norway Passage’ tonight

Norbert Reijngoud - 2012-07-29 17-26-15.jpgTonight, the Nordic Heritage Museum will be showing the PBS special “A Norway Passage: The Most Beautiful Voyage.” The film explores the Norwegian coast aboard the Hurtigruten’s Nord Norge as it travels from the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bergen to the Arctic Port of Kirkenes. “You will be taken to Geirangerfjord with its thousand-foot waterfalls, to Bodø with its massive tidal bores, Honningsvåg and the North Cape, and multitude of small towns and villages that dot the coast,” according to the event information.
