This Friday a crew from Salish Sea Trading Cooperative will be sailing all the way to Sequim to bring back Nash’s Organic Grains to locals on Whidbey Island and in our neighborhood.
The crew for the upcoming trip (pictured above) includes Erden Eruc, Skipper Norm Petersen and welcoming Dominque Paccaly. “It’s clear who should manage the dinghy, Eruc holds the 2014 Guinness Book record for the first solo circumnavigation by human power and is the most experienced ocean rower alive,” says Salish Cofounder Kathy Pelish.
The sail transport co-op will have the prepackaged small bags of flour for sale at the October 19 CSA delivery, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Toast Ballard.
