kidwaterOn Saturday, June 13, Sustainable Ballard is hosting the Ballard Water Fest, a family-friendly neighborhood festival. The festival will be at the Ballard Homestead (6541 Jones Ave NW) and will feature activities for all ages, including water games and live music.

The festival will also celebrate the use of clean stormwater with the RainWise program. They’ll be offering a tour of a cistern installation at Ballard Homestead and the well-established rain garden. RainWise contractors will also be on hand to answer questions.

At the end of the day, there will be an evening concert inside at 7:30 p.m. featuring Tomo Nakayama (Grand Hallway), St Kilda (Joshua Morrison), and Levi Fuller. Tickets for the evening concert will be $8 advance, $10 at door.
