For those who have learned what mushrooms to forage, this class is about how to find them. You will learn what trees and habitats are associated with the 10 easiest mushrooms to identify (featured in Mushroom Foraging for Beginners). You’ll learn how to read a topographic map with mushrooms and their associated habitats in mind, and choose a route to find them.

You’re strongly encouraged to attend if you have already been to Matt’s Mushroom Foraging for Beginners’ class, but it is not required. Half of our time spent together will be in a hands-on activity.
