The weekend events calendar

- The Greenwood Car Show is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Greenwood Avenue from 72nd Street to 90th Street.
– Seattle Police hosts “Picnic at the Precinct” from 1-4 p.m. Saturday. Meet your local officers and tour the facility. There’s also music, dancing and food. At the North Precinct, 10049 College Way North. More info here (pdf).
– On Saturday the Ballard Northwest Senior Center is hosting a barbecue fundraiser on June 28th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 5429 32nd Ave NW
– The Fremont Outdoor Movies series begins Saturday night. The outdoor theater is in the parking lot at 35th St. and Phinney Ave. The lot opens at 7:30 p.m. every Saturday, and there’s a suggested $5 donation.
– For live music, check out the concert calendars for the Tractor Tavern, Sunset Tavern, The Bit Saloon, High Dive, Conor Byrne and Nectar.
