‘Ballard Landmark’ or ‘Blandmark’

The Ballard Landmark retirement home on Leary has a new sign out front.

In between the “Ballard” and the “Landmark” is a signature “B.” From the right angle it looks like “Blandmark.” Lisa Albers spotted it and has more here.

  • Woops...looks like someone forgot to have a buddy proof the sign! Too funny. Almost as funny when WaMu had a "WooHoo" billboard over DeJaVu.

    they're actually changing the sign today. my maternal unit (aka mom) who lives in the bldg. was awoken by a truck with a lift that was going to do work on it.

    It's tempting to form a "Blandmarks Board," but I'd probably have to submit my own building for consideration.
