The largest fundraiser of the year for the Loyal Heights Community Center is this weekend. This Sunday is the annual Loyal Heights Pancake Breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon at the LHCC (2101 NW 77th St.)

Proceeds from the event are used to help families in need take part in programs and activities at the center. Last year the center served more than 700 people at the all-you-can-eat event and raised nearly $2,000.

Tickets are $4 per person in advance (can be purchased at the community center) or $5 per person at the door. Kids 3 and younger are free.

The center is still looking for volunteers for set up on Saturday or for the event and clean-up on Sunday, please call the center at 206-684-4052 if you’re interested.
