Wandering beagles in Ballard

Posted by Geeky Swedes on March 29th, 2011

A favor please, if you happen upon any of my paperplate found beagle signs please remove. I’ve taken down several but know several still remain on area telephone polls. Many thanks!

Earlier: This afternoon we spotted two older beagles walking around Whittier Heights. They were on Alonzo Ave NW heading southbound toward NW 70th St. Unfortunately we were walking our own dog quite a few blocks from home and couldn’t get them to the Animal Shelter. We spoke to several neighbors who didn’t know where they lived.

Just before 6 p.m. we received this email from Autumn:

About ten minutes ago there was an older beagle loose and traveling east from 77th and 20th NW. I tried to get close but he/she was really spooked. Another person had followed it as it crossed 24th.

Someone on Craigslist has one of the these beagles safe, and listed on the Lost & Found. Hope someone rounds up the other one soon!

There is an older man who usually walks these dogs around the neighborhood (I’m on Dibble), sometimes off leash if I’m not mistaken. It’s a little worrisome that they are out and about without him!

I’m the one who posted the ad on craigslist. I do have the beagle that is in the background of the picture. She is safe and sound. We were not able to catch her partner unfortunately. If anyone has anymore info that would be great! You can email me at Score79@aol.com with any more info.

The owner may live on 13th Ave NW — either on the corner or north of 67th St NW.

I had a friend of the owners drive by and ask if we’d seen them. She said the owner lived on the 7700 block of I believe 16th or 17th.

As a beagle owner, in Crown Hill, I appreciate this coverage! Even a loyal beagle can’t help following their nose on a trail. Thanks for the help in keeping these hounds safe – I hope you’d do the same for ours if/when she gets out!

My neighbors (at the corner of 16th & 67th) have two beagles. I’ll check in with them tomorrow to make sure their dogs are accounted for. Please post if the owners are found. Thanks!

The one in the background was the one that I saw on 77th and 20th. Glad to hear she is safe and sound.

There are a couple of beagles that bear a resemblance to these two, who live at Leva (17th/Market). I think those may be the ones you’re seeing. I’ll keep an eye out for missing posters tonight.

I have really learned new things out of your blog post. Yet another thing to I have recognized is that typically, FSBO sellers are going to reject an individual. Remember, they might prefer never to use your services. But if you actually maintain a stable, professional relationship, offering guide and being in contact for around four to five weeks, you will usually be able to win a meeting. From there, a house listing follows. Thanks a lot
