Mother Nature offered us a beautiful Sunday, and many Ballardites took full advantage of the sun.
Down at the Sunday Ballard Farmers Market, you had your usual vendors selling flowers, produce, breads, meats and cheeses, and this little guy who was selling lemonade composting worms for five bucks a box.
The buskers were in full swing with a balloon-making stilt walker, accordion player and one-man-band. But Caspar Babypants (AKA, Chris Ballew of the Presidents of the United States of America) drew the largest crowd of kids, clowning it up with his performance.
Down at Golden Gardens, parking was at a premium as many people basked in the sun, played Frisbee and splashed in the water.
Even a dog decided to hit the open waves.
