A man is in the hospital with life-threatening conditions after being hit by a car late last Monday night, and detectives are looking for witnesses. The Seattle Police Department says the collision happened just after midnight last night on July 30, when a Toyota Camry driven by a man in his fifties struck a man in his twenties who was crossing the road at the 9200 block of Holman Road NW. The victim was treated by the Seattle Fire Department Medics and was then transported to Harborview Medical Center.
According to the SPD Blotter, the driver was not intoxicated. He was interviewed and then released pending the investigation. The detectives are now looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision, which they say happened near the pedestrian overpass at 13th Ave. NW.
