Lost chicken ends up in guest room

During yesterday’s windy, stormy weather, a Ballard woman ended up with an unlikely houseguest. She found a hen with an injured claw in her neighbor’s yard, and took in her in to get warm and dry. “We think the wild wind picked her up and carried her away from her home,” Shannon Ryan wrote on our Facebook page. “If this sweetie is yours, please contact us at Mooneychickens@yahoo.com.”
