Boy Scouts to start selling Christmas trees this weekend

This weekend, you can get your Christmas tree and help out some local Boy Scouts at same time. Troop 100 be setting up their annual Christmas tree sale at St. Alphonsus Church (5816 15th Ave NW).

This is a tradition for the troop; they’ve been selling trees at the lot for over 60 years. It’s their only annual fundraiser, and the trees are cut from three different tree farms in the Shelton area – some are even hand-picked by the troops’ fathers and sons. Some of the trees will go to local schools, churches and some low-income families. The tree lot will be at the church from Nov. 24 to Dec. 15.
