Update: According to Nathan Vorwerk, who commented on the story, the fire was in the offices of PaymentGear.com. “We just moved in. Total fluke,” Vorwerk writes. But, despite the setback, he said they’ll be, “back in the saddle Monday morning.”
Original post: A small fire at the Ballard Blocks this afternoon evacuated LA Fitness, according to our tipster, Silver. The fire was contained in a single room, and was put out quickly with a pump can after the sprinkler system went off. There were no injuries. We’re not sure yet on the cause of the fire, but we’ll update with more details.
