Ballard Mortgage/TAXPRO on the move to Fishermen’s Terminal next month

Ballard Mortgage/TAXPRO (corner of 15th Ave NW and 58th St) will be moving to new offices at Fishermen’s Terminal (1711 Nickerson St, Suite A) from May 1.

The company, founded in its Ballard location by its President Mitch Day in 1998, offers locals professional tax preparation and representation. “The move to Fisherman’s Terminal (Nordby Building) allows the company to continue to serve the Ballard, Magnolia and Queen Anne neighborhoods,” says Day.

Locals may remember the original Ballard Mortgage, which grew to one of the largest mortgage companies in Washington. The business was was sold many years ago to an east coast company, allowing Day to use the name when he was organizing his company.

Day is a Washington licensed Mortgage Loan Officer and Ballard Mortgage is a Washington licensed Mortgage Broker;  Day is also an Enrolled Agent, licensed by the US Treasury and may represent taxpayers before the IRS.
