Your parking options just opened up in downtown Ballard: Hotel Ballard has opened their underground parking lot. The public, 24-hour garage has more than 50 available spots and is more affordable than many pay-to-park street spaces in Ballard. The entrance is behind the hotel, on 20th Ave, between Ballard Ave and Leary Way.
The rates for the garage are $1 for up to 1 hour, $2 for 1-2 hours, $3 for 2-3 hours, $4 for 3-4 hours, and $10 for 4-10 hours. If you’re an Olympic Athletic Club member, you get a discount of $2. Drivers must pay in advance, and they take all major credit cards. An elevator from the garage takes you to the lobby of Hotel Ballard to access Ballard Ave.
“We were thrilled to be able to open the garage to the neighborhood. With all of the new restaurants and other businesses in the area, it can be challenging to find a parking space at times,” Olympic Athletic Club, Hotel Ballard and Ballard Inn owner James Riggle said in a statement. “We know that this lot offers people a chance to make their visit to Ballard that much more time-efficient and pleasant.”
