From Seattle Fire Line:

At 10:08 p.m. dispatchers at the Fire Alarm Center received a 911 call regarding a house fire. When firefighters arrived, they found a full-involved 2 ½-story house on fire. Firefighters used large stream hose lines to battle the fast moving flames. It took 72 firefighters 25 minutes to bring the fire under control and nearly an hour to completely extinguish the flames.

Fire investigators determined the fire started in a 1994 Subaru Loyale parked in the driveway. The flames from the car fire extended to the garage, the deck and to the attic of the house. Firefighters contained the flames to the one home and prevented it from extending to nearby structures.

…The fire caused extensive damage to structure and the contents. The damage estimate to the house and the contents is $401,625.

No other injuries were reported.
