  • The Not-Its at Ridge Romp hosted by Phinney Neighborhood Association (6615 Dayton Ave N. Seattle) from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Meet The Not-Its!, Seattle’s most rockin’ kid-focused band.   • Ballard Farmers Markets along Ballard Ave from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Click here to see this week’s specials.
  • Steps Against Domestic Violence Event at Green Lake Park from 10 a.m. Join in the fundraiser walk held to honor all survivors and victims of domestic violence. Let’s take this opportunity to celebrate all the first steps YOU have taken and continue to take to help end domestic violence! Meet near the south side of the Community Center/Gym. The walk is free, however, donations are appreciated. Click here to find out more.
  • Meditation Class: Introduction to Meditation for Spiritual Awareness at NW Activity Center (5429 NW 32nd St) from 12:30 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. This class is geared toward the practice of meditation.  Participants learn the basic concepts of meditation and the positive interaction between meditation and success in everyday life. The class is free of charge and followed by a vegetarian meal.   • Blessing of Pets at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ (6712 12th Ave NW) from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Our annual Blessing of the Pets worship service will be held in the Sanctuary, at the regular 11:00 am Sunday worship time. Bring your dog, cat, rabbit, bird, goldfish, stuffed toy animal, or picture of a current or departed pet to the service.
  • Wax On Event at Anchors Down Bar (2016 NW Market St) from 4 p.m. Every Sunday at Anchors Down, bring in your vinyl records to listen to and share with fellow music junkies. All vinyl, all day, and an all day happy hour. We’ll take turns playing our favorite cuts and talk about music through the years. All music welcome!
  • Mythos Art Club’s Chicago Art Party at Benito’s Chicago Eatery (6201 15th Ave NW) from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Check out Mythos Art Club’s take on the stories, people and places that define the windy city while enjoying authentic Chicago deep dish pizza with a glass of wine from Proletariat and a chance to win a door prize! Cost is $5 and includes one drink ticket good for a glass of wine or bottled beer and samples from the menu of Benito’s Chicago Eatery.
