Calling all goblins and witches: Halloween trick-or-treating in Ballard

Next Thursday, the streets of downtown Ballard will be filled with little costumed Ballardites trick-or-treating at shops and cafes. The annual Halloween trick-or-treating in downtown Ballard is from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31. The Ballard Chamber of Commerce says to look for the orange sign to find participating merchants. Children 12 and younger are welcome to join, with parental accompaniment.

The My Ballard official trick-or-treating neighborhood map is now live, so click here to add your house to list if you want to reward our costumed youngsters with candy for their parade around Ballard. (Click here to see last year’s map).

“The little goblins, two-legged and four-legged, will be out in full force,” the Chamber writes in their newsletter. “Please remember to drive with extra care in downtown Ballard on Halloween and protect our little goblins.
