The last weekend of 2013 is here and it is filled with events to enjoy in our neighborhood. Enjoy your weekend in Ballard!

Friday, December 27:

  • Comedy Sportz Seattle Show at Ballard Underground (2220 NW Market St) at 8 p.m. Click here for more details and to buy tickets.
  • Holiday Rap at Ballard Underground (2220 NW Market St) at 10 p.m. Holiday Rap is a 100% improvised rap-musical that is sure to have you in stitches. Click here to buy tickets. Cost is $10.

Saturday, December 28:

  • Breathing and Meditation Lab at Embrace the Moon (1716 NW Market St) from 10:30 – 11:45 a.m. Every Saturday through the end of the year, we’ll be practicing yoga (breathing + meditation) techniques that will quickly bring you back to place of calm and ease, no matter what merry-making pressure surrounds you.   • Metro Transit Shuttle to Seahawks Game from Northgate Transit Center cost is $4 each way. Click here for more details.
  • Wax On Event at Anchors Down Bar (2016 NW Market St) from 4 p.m. Every Sunday at Anchors Down, bring in your vinyl records to listen to and share with fellow music junkies. All vinyl, all day, and an all day happy hour. We’ll take turns playing our favorite cuts and talk about music through the years. All music welcome!
  • Ballard Elks Lodge Ballroom Dancing (6411 Seaview Ave NW) from 7 p.m. – 10 pm. Live music will be provided by The Eddy Fukano Band. Singles and couples are welcome and cost is $7 per person.  Click here for more details.
