Stoneburner and Bastille celebrate birthdays next Monday

A pair of sibling restaurants on Ballard Avenue Northwest will be marking their birthdays next Monday with special happy hour offers and drinks for patrons.

Bastille Cafe & Bar (5307 Ballard Ave NW) and Stoneburner (5214 Ballard Ave NW), both owned by Seattle restauranteurs Deming Maclise and James Weimann with Jason Stoneburner serving as executive chef at Bastille and as chef and partner at the restaurant that bears his name, are turning five and one, respectively.

From 3 to 5 p.m., Stoneburner, which opened in June of last year on the ground floor of Hotel Ballard, will offering all happy hour menu items for $5. They’ll also be serving glasses of their special punch for $5.

From 4:30 to 6 p.m., Bastille, which opened in June of 2009, will have their own $5 happy hour specials, including their Bastille Burger, croque madame, and moules frites, and will be serving their own birthday punch for $5 a glass throughout the night.
