Populuxe Brewing (826B NW 49th St) is inviting families out for an afternoon of fun this Sunday as part of its August “Sunday Family Funday.”

Starting at 2 p.m., local entertainer Alleyoop will keep kids of any age captivated with his mix of music, storytelling, and puppetry.

As described on the event’s Facebook page:

He knows more songs, stories and riddles, than anybody else his size or shape. He has at least one story or song for every occasion. He has more whistles than you can shake a stick at. Children of all ages love his “Limberjack,” routine. His original musical games are a hoot!

The brewery will also host a pair of local food trucks, with No Bones About It serving up its various vegan and vegetarian offerings, and the Seattle Cookie Counter returning with its vegan ice cream sandwiches.

“Those dog days of summer won’t last so join us for this free all ages bash,” reads the description on the event’s Facebook page.
