It’s that time of year again for the 5th annual Halloween on Holman “trick or treat” celebrations in the Carkeek Plaza and Holman Plaza shopping centers (at NW 100th St) this Sunday, October 26, from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Ghosts, ghouls and goblins of all ages (accompanied by an adult) are invited to participate in the event which also doubles as a food drive for the Greenwood and Ballard Food Banks.
Merchants will hand out wrapped candy for the kids and offer a coupon or special for adults, and a sticker for a passport card. Sticker-filled cards can be turned in to enter a prize drawing. Prizes include gift cards and items donated by the stores in both shopping centers with the total prize value topping $1000.
Participating stores include Elements Massage™, Karin’s Beauty Supplies, Key Bank, QFC, Starbucks, Jenny Nails, Patty’s Egg Nest, Luisa’s Mexican Grill, All the Best Pet Care, State Farm, Papa Murphy’s, Magic Touch Salon and more. Music and emcee duties will be provided by City DJ.
