  • Opening of “Imaging the Arctic” exhibition at the Nordic Heritage Museum (3014 NW 67th St) This interdisciplinary exhibit explores the impact of climate change on West Greenland’s ecology and culture through the work of three women: marine mammal biologist Dr. Kristin Laidre, expeditionary artist Maria Coryell-Martin, and Finnish photographer Tiina Itkonen. Click here to find out more.
  • Art Up Holiday Event w/ Tarot Card readings at Ballard Healing Arts (8314 8th Ave NW) from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. Art Up featuring artwork by FAYEZART Pottery, Tarot Card Reader Megan Skinner will be giving mini Tarot Card Readings and mini reiki and massage sessions.
  • Nutcracker Sweets at ARC Dance Space (9250 14th Ave NW) from 7 p.m. ARC Dance brings the magic of The Nutcracker alive for families and the community in this child-friendly version of this holiday classic ballet that will warm your spirit.   • A Festival of Lessons & Carols at Phinney Lutheran Church (7500 Greenwood Ave N) from 7:30 p.m. The Northwest Boychoir celebrates its 40th anniversary with the presentation of the 2014 Festival of Lessons & Carols concert series featuring eight regional performances and opening at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church.   • The Most Wonderful Time of the Year: An A-Cappella Holiday Show at Philadelphia Church (7704 24th Ave NW) at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. The Seattle SeaChordsmen invite you to join us for our annual concert of family-friendly traditional holiday songs, performed in ringing Barbershop harmony.
