Ballard Development update: subdivision central around 17th and 63rd

Four applications have been granted to subdivide development sites along 17th and 20th, spanning from NW 61st to 63rd. All sites are well within a half mile of each other. Two new applications have been proposed for subdivisions on NW 59th and 60th.

This week’s development update is provided by the City of Seattle’s Department of Planning and Development (DPD) as posted in the Land Use Information Bulletin.

Applications:

1756 NW 60TH ST

A Land Use Application has been proposed to subdivide one development site into three unit lots. The construction of residential units is under Project #6469643. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots.

1526 NW 59TH ST

A Land Use Application has been proposed to subdivide one parcel into two parcels of land. Proposed parcel sizes are: A) 1,681 sq. ft. and B) 2,091 sq. ft. Existing structures to be demolished.

Decisions:

A Land Use Application has been grated to subdivide a development site at 2222 NW 63RD ST into three unit lots. The construction of residential units has been approved under Project #6459750. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots.

A Land Use Application has been granted to subdivide one parcel at 1737 NW 63RD ST into two parcels of land. Proposed parcel sizes are: A) 2,799 sq. ft. and B) 2,799 sq. ft. Existing structures are to be demolished.

A Land Use Application has been granted to subdivide one development site at 6316 17TH AVE NW into two unit lots. The construction of residential units has been approved under Project #6437762. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots.

A Land Use Application has been granted to subdivide one development site at 1750 NW 61ST ST into three unit lots. The construction of residential units has been approved under Project #6422958. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots.

Additionally, two Land Use Applications for northern sites on N 105th have been granted. A 3-story, 5-unit rowhouse structure and one, 3-story, 4-unit rowhouse structure (9 units total) is set for 526 N 105TH ST. Parking for 14 vehicles to be provided in attached garages and surface. The development site at 502 N 105TH ST will be subdivided into nine unit lots.
