The chef behind Ballard favorites The Walrus and the Carpenter and Barnacle has agreed to open an Italian restaurant and a bar inside the Amazon Spheres.
Seattle Met reports that Renee Erickson and her business partner Jeremy Price are planning on an “informal” Italian eatery and a bar that’s inspired by “high-end hotel bars of a bygone Manhattan.”
Already teeming with jungle plants, the Spheres are slated to open in “early 2018”, and Erickson’s new restaurant and bar are slated to open in spring or summer of next year.
