The Ballard ArtWalk

The second Saturday of every month, dozens of Ballard businesses along Ballard Ave. and Market St. feature some of Western Washington’s most talented artists and photographers.

Here at The Palm Room on Ballard Ave., attendees enjoy the “Landscapes” series by Jasmine Swope. The ArtWalk runs from 6-9 p.m., and some of the businesses serve drinks and appetizers.

The event is coordinated by the Ballard Chamber of Commerce. Maps are available at participating businesses and the Ballard Chamber’s website.

  • Be sure and visit BallardWorks at 2856 NW Market Street. Above Sev Shoon and Art and Soul there are 2 more floors of artists studios. There is also art work in the halls and gallery space on the third floor. You can visit me in my studio, 2A. You can either enter through Sev Shoon, going up the stairs to the next floors or through the door on 30th Ave. which lets you go up to the third or into the second floors. December is the last artwalk until next May for us.

    I will be showing my art at the January 9, 2010, Artwalk at Lombardi's Italian Restaurant located at 22nd and Market Streets. My paintings are respresentational watercolors and oils.
