In an effort to compete with big-name espresso outlets like Starbucks, McDonald’s has launched it’s new McCafe. Today and next Friday the fast-food joint is giving away free lattes during breakfast hours. The McCafe’s are staffed by specially trained baristas and they will make all your favorite drinks with fresh-ground beans. Our question is: Since Seattle is known for its coffee snobbery, what will happen to the drive-thru line when someone orders a double tall non-fat half the chocolate no-whip with a little foam mocha?
