Twitter gems about Ballard

If you’re not familiar with it, Twitter is a service that lets you send short messages to your friends and the rest of the world. We recently created a page on My Ballard that aggregates any Twitter message from the Seattle area that mentions the word “Ballard.” It’s an interesting and slightly voyeuristic slice of Ballard life through the eyes of tech-savvy Seattleites. Over the last few days, there have been some good gems:

    – “We got outed by the table next to us for biking to King’s totally ‘hipped out’… Okay I like Ballard a little better now.” (bustermcleod)
    – “Shoreline is the new Ballard.” (forehand)
    – “Most treacherous bike commute obstacle encountered so far: Ballard Bridge joggers with iPod blasting. HELLO! ON YOUR LEFT!!!!” (benaar)
    – “A shirtless unicycling accordian player in Ballard. Wow.” (myballard)
