This weekend is your chance to help local kids get the school supplies they need. Many kids can’t afford the $50 in pens, paper, binders and so much more that they’ll need for this school year, so The Salvation Army and the Ballard Fred Meyer have teamed up to “Stuff A Bus” with school supplies. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Saturday & Sunday drop off anything from a backpack to school clothes at the big yellow school bus outside the front entrance. They’ll also be accepting cash donations.
