Pearl Jam lead guitarist, Mike McCready, is stepping off the big stage for a night to perform a Jimi Hendrix tribute at the intimate Tractor Tavern. The sold-out show next Wednesday (August 27th) is to benefit Soulumination, which is an organization that photographs children with life-threatening diseases so their parents will have something to hold on to once their little one passes away. (You can read a story about Soulumination’s absolutely incredible work in the PI here.) McCready is well known for volunteering his talents to raise money for Crohn’s disease and other non-profits.
