Playground goes up at Ballard Corners Park

A few dozen volunteers rolled up their sleeves at Ballard Corners Park on 17th Ave. on Saturday and assembled a playground structure.

The play structure is Eastern European, called an Algol Galaxy, with a cool, progressive design. As the park gets closer and closer to completion, volunteers will soon be installing tiles featuring the names of contributors. More details on the Ballard Corners Park blog. (Photo by machaggis.
