‘Tis the holiday season!
- Do some holiday shopping at the Holiday bazaar and bake sale on Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ballard Northwest Senior Center(5429 32nd Ave NW.)
- Fair Trade Fair and Pancake Breakfast on Saturday at Salmon Bay School (1810 NW 65th St.) Enjoy pancakes from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. for $5 per person or $20 per family. The Fair Trade Fair will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.The event supports the Bridges to Understanding program that many of the 7th and 8th graders participate in yearly.
- Yulefest 2008 at the Nordic Heritage Museum (3014 NW 67th St) is Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Browse hand-crafted gifts from over 50 vendors, enjoy performances by a host of Scandinavian musical talent and feast on Nordic cuisine. Admission is $2 for adults and children 13 and up, $1 for children ages 6-12.
